January The Twenty First:My Birthday

It took me & my boyfriend 5 days to plan for my birthday party. A few places were selected;Four Points lunch buffet & a poolside party at Grand Margaretha but most of my friends were busy preparing for Chinese New Year (my birthday falls on the day before the eve of CNY) and some are away overseas so we invited a few close friends to have lunch at my favourite cafe in town, Fullhouse!

We manage to book this room after lots of consideration about the menu & stuff. I wanted a simple party where my guests can just kick back & have fun with me on my birthday. I gathered some inspiration & decorate it a little & I transformed this room from this

FYI, that lil bird cage belongs to me. haha. We were like this random couple that walk around in a mall

with a bird cage before my party.haha.

The staff at Fullhouse are AWESOME!! Kudos to the guys who climbed up & down the ladder tying up the balloons at the ceiling while I just point to them where I want it to be & how I like it to be

Had a small get together at my friend's house last Saturday night. It was great to see old friends from school whom I met that night after many years ago since I left high school.

Its just the twelfth day of the year and I'm facing major bumps and pointless drama. Firstly, business is doing great. Trusting the person who runs it is another. I was counting my stocks yesterday and it came to my realization that a dress was missing. Unrecorded and the cash is not in sight. My heart was pounding and I immediately alerted the security guard.

They brought me to the manager who's in charge of the shopping mall's cctv control room and they viewed the footage on Monday and Tuesday. No sight of thief or suspicious activity at my stall.

I guess the person who I gave my trust and responsibility to run my stall did a bad job. Poor me, huh. But I guess this is what I have to face. Reality and hardships in life. Running this business ain't gonna be easy breezy everyday.

I was furious. Oh yes, I was throwing a hissy fit and I should be thankful for my boyfriend who kept me calm . I was like a tigress on a leash, ready to scream and throw things at her.

But who am I to blame? Its okay, anger aside. I have a new replacement yesterday :)

A fresh educated university student who seems very eager to learn and did her job well.

Lesson learnt. Next chapter perhaps? As quoted by my Malay/Buddha boyf:

"There's 365 days in a year, 1 bad day won't effect everything.Tomorrow will be a better day"

and he added " I love you :) "

More Of Bandung

Hows 2012 treating you so far? Everything is going well for me & I've been sooo busy that I have no time to blog.Anyways, as promised;my week in Bandung to be continued! :)

We went to Paris Van Java for shopping & I was super excited. I figure out that I need to fill up my closet for clothes in 2012 & get rid of those which I only wear 5 times max.I know, super bimbo-ish but I have this weird habit of not wearing the same outfit repeatedly in a month.

Walked around Paris Van Java & spotted MANY MANY gorgeous shops . Thus,I will let my pictures speak for itself.

After that we had lunch at Duck King. A Chinese restaurant with a fusion of local Indonesian food.

The food here cost about RP 10k-15k which is about RM 15 for a plate of fried rice.

I really love the warm service here in Indonesia, the waitress are so polite & they would stand behind us while we eat waiting for customer's requests. Its so different compared back home.

Finally, my nasi goreng arrived. It was superb!

Then we went at rooftop of the mall & I spotted an ice skating rink. How cool is that?

A garden, an ice skating rink & also a bird zoo on the rooftop.

Can you guess where is this koi fish pond? Its in the toilet!

Super unique; an open air toilet like the one at Iluma in Singapore.

Except this one has a friggin fish pond in it!

After that , we took a cab to Jalan Dago, a stretch of fashion outlets & I literally shopped til I dropped.

Day 1 Bandung

I miss being in Bandung. A beautiful , beautiful place is you ask me. I've fallen in love with the weather, people and the shopping places there. Everyone in Bandung seems polite and their customer service is so warm making you wanting to come back for more.

I spent a week in West Java with my parents & from day one I was totally mesmerized by the sight and sound of buzzing city. Cars are totally crazy on the road & you can even spot a horse in the middle of traffic! I would love to be there again :) This is one of the vacation I will never forget.

We reached Singapore at 12.05pm & had lunch at the cafe before departing to Bandung.

As silly as it sounds I was pretty nervous going to Indonesia for the first time!

Then we board the plane to West Java! We were given a form to fill in our details before entering their country for immigration purposes.

We reached the hotel around 3pm (Bandung time because its an hour late there) and my dad booked the room for the entire week at Hilton.

This is me getting ready to explore the city with my dad behind reading the map .

Our first destination that afternoon is Rumah Mode. Pronounced as 'mo-day' or 'mo-dek' by the locals.

We were thirsty so we had drinks at Java Bean.

I notice that in Bandung you can find lots of coffee and tea cafes around.

The price of food can be over whelming there like Rp 34, 500 for a cuppa ! Its kinda funny to pay thousands of rupiah for food but after converting the price it is about RM 14 only.Paying for stuff over the counter will take us minutes to calculate the money & which rupiah note to use. haha. Sakai much.

I ordered that drink like whats on the menu & its superb! Think Bing, only better. That's why I love Bandung!!

Then we went around Rumah Mode to snap a few pictures. The weather is very cool about 22'c in the afternoon.

A blend of modern and traditional architecture.

Then we went inside to shop! No pictures are allowed to be taken inside so I only snapped the window display. Honestly shopping there is not that cheap as I imagined. A top will cost you in a range of RM40-RM 80 (cotton tshirts.branded or without any brands).

Dresses are about RM60-RM200 each but most available in sizes UK10-14. I only grabbed a few Juicy Couture & GUESS tees here before we head back to the hotel.

Christmas

December was a busy bee month for me and it turned out that things got way busier than i expected, yet here i am. Finally i found some time to sit down, detached, catched a break and have MY time:)

Received a BIG black box from the boyfriend before he flew back to his hometown :D

He told me a few rules - that I cannot shake the box & I can only open it on Christmas day.

The funny part is that he actually google how to wrap a gift box HAHA!

Finally on Christmas morning, I ripped the wrapper apart & opened the box

hitz.fm birthday invasion

It was indeed a TGIF last Friday as cheering & screaming filled BCCK. I was lucky to be given two tickets by a friend to celebrate hitz.fm kuching's first birthday ! It was a party that made me feel 17 all over again :D

The performances was super awesome by Mizz Nina and hip hop rock band Pop Shuvit along with newcomer Nadhira, rapper Liang and hosted by the hitz.fm announcers JJ & Ean and Meng & Natasha! The best part was the end of the show when ClubHitz DJs Jakeman & Skeletor got the crowd grooving on the dance floor . But the highlight of the night was seeing Ean live on stage (ever since I had a massive crush on him :DDD)

The crowd was huge & I met so many friends while queuing up to get inside the convention hall.

Christmas blooms yearly in Singapore!

My first trip was when I was a kid in primary school then I returned back in 2009 with the boyf:

Lots of changes - not that I remember much when I was a kid.

But this one was rather memorable cos he's with me :)

Our second year in university when we met & went on vacation together for

The next year in 2010 we went to the same destination for a nearby Christmas wonderland.

Yay!! Its finally here!

My boyf ordered a pair of Crap Eyewear after he lost his Electric shades at campus last week .
He mopped around like a sad puppy all day and I felt bad for him .

The I love it when the wind blows her coffee milky fur;the way she wags her tail & that glimmer in her eyes when she look at me ;)

The most loving companion I ever had in my life. I never knew that dogs can bring such joy & happiness in my life :)

New Skin

If you notice my blog looks different today -my fingers were feeling rather itchy and I changed my blog layout. I still remain it as a three column layout but with a change of colour here

She's My Everything

Holy moly, its November! 2011 is going to end pretty soon & it been really , really fast. This year ends with a whoop! & a bang! with my lil pup around. :)

My lil Angel will turn 3 months old this 10th November & I love her each & every day ! She never fail to make me laugh by her doggie antics. Very cute , confused & evil at times.

As she grew each day so does her nails & fur. Grooming is essential for every dogs and if you have a pet, I highly recommend for you to go to Amazing Pets . Their service is good & the grooming package includes nail clipping, fur trimming, ear cleaning, bath & blow dry.

I found this picture so adorable! Angel had her eyes shut the entire time when the groomer trimmed her fur above her eyes!

HELOOOO!

My poor lil pup got her first injection shot yesterday & she seem to have a personality change.

*sobs*!! She seem to be more aggressive and depressed. I feel so bad for her. I bought her a snuggly toy & new blankie to keep her warm .

Aww, my poor lil baby at the vet's. The good thing is she didn't yelp or howl. She became sleepy & slept the whole day after we got back.

So what's been happenin with me so far? Hmmm.. depression days are over , boyfriend's being truly supportive with the new pup , business doing fine , mom's bugging to bring me for a vacation next month and its truly challenging at the office.

Honestly, I FREAKING HATE to work for people.I feel like my energy & time spent is useless. My mind would be wandering about my boutique and its like a first true love that you cannot be apart & sitting at the office feels like I'm cheating on my boutique. After you get your taste of making money out of your own sweat & blood and 100% goes back in your pockets-working for a company feels totally like a waste of time.

I read that people fall into two category-be employed or self employed.

She's the reason why I feel happy when I'm having a bad day.

Today the weather was perfect so I brought her out of the house to play in the garden .

I love the way she look in this photo- so happy & excited to be outdoors! :D

I had to put her on a leash in case she dash off towards the bushes & it will be really difficult to coax her out.

My dad was clearing the Alamanda tree & Angel rolled around with the flowers and branches on the ground.

She loves rolling around on the grass and got some dirt & grass stuck on her face.

Weekend Breather

Hello my name is Gwen and I’m a workaholic.Infact,I work 9-6pm in the office then 7-1am running my business at home .I go to bed at 2am and wake up at 7am .This cycle starts from Monday to Friday with bags under my eyes. During the weekends I will be rushing to the post office, taking photos of my clothes, stock checking and doing price tagging with aching muscles. My room is a mess, I snap at my boyfriend, I barely taste the food in my mouth and I act all perfect in front of everyone,living a good life,happy and all.WHEN I’M NOT.

I’m not going lie, having a lot of money is nice. Money can buy you things, nice things from a new bag,shoes or clothes without checking the price tag to see the price .However, the cliché is true – money cannot buy you happiness, and having it doesn’t make you the happiest person. After several weeks, I realized that the more money I made, the less satisfied I became.

As they say, on our journey of life, we will face many bumps. This is the major bump that hit me right in the face.When i didn't reply to ant text messages , fb inbox, customers orders and phone calls i decided to bring my parents for a short and near vacation just to run away from things.

So much of pure bliss..just laying by the pool.

It wasn't sunny that Saturday. The sky was a bit dark and I felt that the sea and sky brought such calming bliss.The therapeutic power of mother nature.

This is the room I shared with my parents and they gave us three single beds. I think this is the first night after so many years my parents slept separately. lol

If you're wondering why the room looks different, its because its by the new block they renovated.

Smells new and the floor still has its bits of construction cement dust.

The next morning me & my mom head downstairs for breakfast while my dad snooze away.

I love waffles. I miss the one I had in KL, with whipped cream. :)

Then we swam a little and on the way back we had lunch at the BEST seafood. Trips to Damai will never be complete since I was a kid without indulging at the seafood here.

I have been working 9 days a week . Monday to Friday in the office , weeknights at night , Saturday & Sunday working at home. Honestly, its not easy. I have barely time for my family and I have to squeeze all the time I can to catch up with the girl friends. If I am an electrical gadget my battery will be running out. Constantly blinking . But as they say, hard work pays off in the end. If you're planning to be employed and self employed, it take LOTS of dedication, a sense of being realistic ( preparation for short coming failure ) and optimism.

If you think that optimism and confidence bring you to reach your goals, there is no guarantee. In fact if you believe that success in running an online boutique comes easy to you, you are more likely to be disappointed.
What?? Disapointed?

Its because I believe that you will fail to put in the necessary work.you need to think positive but also be realistic about what achievement entails.it takes time for your products to sell and in short, dont spend too much time visualising the end result, instead envision the steps you will take to get there ;)

I honestly sacrificed lots of sleep and leisure time for this but I know for sure, I'm mapping my route to acheive my targets and dreams :)

I honestly think that vacation over the weekend is not relaxing. Due to time constraint , rushing from one place to another is the main problem but on the second day in the city is all bout FOOD :D yipee!~

After spending the first day with the family, my bf picked me up from the hotel & we look for food that we've

been craving in Kuching.

He was rather early :P

So we had Subway!! The last Subway meal I had was the pork bacon in Singapore and I've been craving it back home ^^

Then we drove to Bangsar Village for dinner at Ben's General Food Store.

Baby bought me a Bijoux cupcake as a starter & it was scrumptious to the last crumb. I kid you not.

Worth every penny ;)

Then we had the beef pizza .It was okay. I was craving for Chili's at first but.............oh well!

Then we went to Midvallay for dessert!

My froyo craving itch is fulfilled!

I think Spoon is wayyyyyyy better then Tutti Fruitti's.

Loving the texture & the taste of the pomegranate + fresh strawberries!!

I can eat this every day for the rest of my life! ;)

Now I'm craving for it!

The next day was Sunday .

That afternoon, I spent time with the big sister!

Accompanied her for lunch after Wendy's. We ate again because the Wendy's at Times Square was

truly disappointing !! Food was horrible & cold. We didn't finish our food & had sushi instead.

Walked over to Pavilion & took pictures at the usual spot . lol!

After that we went back to the hotel, me & my family packed our bags & flew back to Kuching that night.

But it still bugs me...dinner at Chilli's not yet fulfilled !

Shopping Stress!

They say that shopping releases endorphins. The hormones that is released in the human brains of the usual high when it comes to being happy. I did get the high and the low while shopping at KL.

The jam & car park can be such a bitch and being on the flight straight from work last Thursday drained every inch of energy in my body.

We took the ERL from KLIA and it was empty. I think everyone prefer to use the bus because its much

cheaper but since we're on the second last flight, my parents wanted to get to the hotel in a zap.

The boring empty ride to the city and being a typical Malaysian, I put my tired legs on the chair.

Me and my family reached the hotel around 2 am in the morning.

The first thing we notice as we enter the room is the freaking sink in the middle of the hotel room! LOL!

We wanted to bunk in the Legend but all the hotels are full because of the public holiday (Malaysia day) & the most affordable room we can find in KL is Piccolo hotel which cost us RM 244 per night & we stayed there for 3 nights so its pretty worth the price.We don't need the swimming pool or gym other hotels provide.

The next morning, my baby picked me up & the FIRST thing I had in mind is to get my camera ASAP!!

We were like on an Amazing Race shopping spree from Low Yatt to Kenanga wholesale centre ,Sg Wang and to other shopping malls.

The traffic jams can be hell & looking for a space to park took us several minutes.Me and my bf swore that we will never, ever stay in KL.Its good to be here for vacation and shopping but bad for working & residing .

Dad gave me some cash & I bought the cheapest camera - the Olympus Pen E-P1

Its semi-pro and I don't really like the bulkiness of a dslr so i got this smaller cammy to fit in my handbag,

I know she meant me because apparently

I was the only one in Kuching helping my friends selling their headbands at the Hills last month.

So I asked her nicely in a personal message in Facebook , hoping that she can clarify the situation but I thought she didn't receive my message so I send her another one.

Then she freaked out & played the VICTIM. omg. The nerve of that lil bitch. She insist I was harassing her .

How?

By asking her to strangle my throat when she got the chance!

So this attention seeking little troll posted a photo of my message to her on a fan page on Facebook to mortify me. But I guess the person that should be ashamed now is she herself.

Let me tell you why.

I just got off the plane from a short shopping vacation at KL and its damn tiring!

Was cranky on the first day because we were in such a rush from one shopping mall to another but the three days vacation went well.It was just 3 hours since I met my baby and now I'm missing him sooooo much.

Saying goodbye at the airport was not easy because I was sad . But I'll be seeing him in Kuching this Saturday .So no point of me crying . hehe

I love , love , love my hairstylist. She's like super awesome when it comes to styling my hair. She knows

what I want and kept asking me how I want it, blunt cut?layered cut ?and the length to snip off maybe its because I constantly threatened her that I will walk out of the saloon without paying her if my hair turned out bad. When it comes to my hair, its serious business.

But she's super cute and we're besties - great minds think alike ;)

I like it when hairstylists constantly ask their customers how they want their hair to be like.Cost a lot but I'm so satisfied with the result & her service is top notched. So here's my before and after picture.

Being a brunette make me feel like I'm back in high school again.Once, I can't resist the temtation to change my hair colour and I dyed my hair brown. The next day , I got caught during assembly by the nosy prefects and I was sent to the principal's room for dying my hair.Now remembering it, its so funny!lol!

I really hate to follow the rules in school, I never wear my name tag ,my skirts are always shorter then the rest., my nails are always long ,I come late, caught talking, caught eating in class and I constantly got punish for breaking the rules. I received few warning letters from the school and I was sent to collect the rubbish around the school compound . But all these made me learn but some traits never leave in uni either. I always skip classes in uni , come late and go dating instead. hahaha

But I'm wayyy past that stage , despite breaking the stupid rules, I do concentrate on my studies and made it where I am today. :)

Its the mooncake festival! Yums~ I love the ones with the lotus seeds and my lil cousins are coming over tonight for mooncake dinner and we're playing with our lanterns after that .

One Step Closer

Today is officially the third day of me being at the office . Finally I get to wear my new dress and blazer. :D But.....I can count the number of working clothes in my closet. I seriously need to shop for more working attire since I work Mon-Fri and I really need more shoes to match my bags !

I will check the air tickets soon..hmm..I have an idea, why don't I take next weekend off (since Friday is a public holiday) to KL and shop for working clothes?I hope three days is enough for me to grab,try and buy new working clothes to fill up my closet! But I can be really picky!! *shifty eyes* hmm.. I will definitely ask my dad for more money to buy my air tickets since air asia is having 20% discounts for the flight tickets this week, about rm400+ both ways and I don't have anymore holidays after next weekend so I should grab this opportunity right?

Today, I got my offer letter :DD I'm officially a staff as a Regional Sales Executive at this bank.

I got calls/texts from mumsie, sister and grandma asking me how was my day at the office . Well, all I did from 9-5pm is study. In order to certify myself as a unit trust marketer, I had to study and sit for an exam next month to hold a license for this job. The book has 7 chapters and I find it very similar to Financial Management and Business Law which I took during my third year completing my degree in 2010.I would say-so far so good.I go back every day laughing and talking with daddykins in the car feeling happy (which I rarely did back then) .Plus the people there are nice and I like being there!

I also found a new transition in me- a step to adulthood and a step closer chasing my dreams , making it a reality-travelling to places I've longed to be ;

Diving in the crystal clear sea at Maldives (with my bf would be awesome)

Wearing an Alexander Mcqueen or Vera Wang for my dream wedding; It will totally

be the wedding of the year . I plan to have a gala which I will never forget for the rest of my life. I will throw an over the top wedding reception with a pinch of traditional style and a handful of fabulosity & glam ;)

Hari Raya this year is rather unexpected. With the boyf being away in SG and I can't call or text him made me miserable. Got many calls from friends to come over and I wasn't in the mood at first and I realize none of my friends have the mood to celebrate Raya either but who can't resist the temptation for food?

My bestie had an open house last Friday & I got there pretty early and left pretty late .

What Should I Wear?

Its my first day of work next week and I'm pretty nervous. I have nothing to wear and mom brought me shopping at Spring to get me prepared. She said the key to confidence is to wear something nice and presentable .

She said when she was young, she only wear hand me downs and self sewn baju kurungs. She never had the chance to wear a really nice dress or suit to work. She said she don't want her children to grow up like that .

I remembered years ago,my parents would struggle to put the ends meet. Money doesn't come easy for us . I remembered when I was in primary school, we don't have enough money even for dinner. I remember my mum bought groceries with coins she kept in a tin on top of the kitchen cupboard. We would only have plain rice with sardine for dinner. Oh my gosh, I feel so emotional now remembering those moments. :')

I'm so grateful to God for my dad's current job .He know they deserve better.I don't want to see my parents struggle anymore. I always believe that things happen for a reason and all these financial opportunities came their way for a good reason.Mum planned to retire early and relax at home :)

Even though they can't provide their children with the best things in life before but I'm so grateful now that I can shop for things I like without checking the price tag first. As long as I like it, my mum will want me to have it . They also insist that I keep my e-boutique's money in the bank as savings and not to spend it.

She said price does not matter now,the only things that matter is the clothes that make me feel good and comfortable to cure my first week of jitter at work.

We went to almost all of the ladies department and I finally found what I wanted ; a blazer and a dress from Padini

Thank God, the blazer was a value buy ;)

From Rm174 to Rm 159 is a pretty good bargain for me. Thanks mom! Will treat her spa or massage with my first pay cheque ;) I promise .

Last Day at Hills

How is life been treating you?Mine is doing really, really good so far & the offline appreance of my online boutique at Hills is finally over :) Sales was awesome there, looking at the five figure money we made , put a hugggeeee smile on my face. I'm just too in love with money.

Some people are afraid to admit that they love money in fear of being judged, but I'm not.

I have targets to achieve, dreams to fulfil .

The secret ingredient from all these is perseverance , thick skin , persuasiveness and patience.The hard work has been paid off and I never settle for less but for more. I don't mean to make me sound like i'm a super star at selling(i mean some entrepreneurs might earn rm10k within a week ) but the feeling and smell of ringgit in my hands is so satisfying after a month of hard work.

Its not an easy job sitting in a mall from 2pm-9pm every single day and the MOST tiring part is arranging and displaying the items since we need to pack up when the mall close at 10pm. Besides that, my stall got the MOST complain from the management because we open late (suppose to be at 11am when I'm still snoozing away) and they say our stall is dirty with price tags sticking on the floor.In other words, our stall is dirty.LOL!

Anyway, I was having lunch at Kim Bay last Friday & got a call from the bank- I got a job next month !! I'm sooooooo nervous/excited about it but I promise promise promise to do well. I will read & do my homework on unit trust funds . Promise! This means its the end of my jobless days since June 2010. 15 fucking months staying at home doing nothing, just bumming /shopping/pigging. Mum was happy for me and a bit sad because we need to reschedule our Perth trip to next year .

This means I need to multi task!! I need to balance between my job at the office and my business.I will work extra hard for both even if it means less sleep. just kidding! I'm not that crazy ass type.

Anyway, the last day at Hills was a mixed emotion of happiness/sadness/moneyness/sadness :(

Aww..my ratio of being sad is higher. I will miss being with the girls there. All the times we had together was indeed priceless.

A typical day for me is having a wardrobe malfunction and I will totally flipped out when none of my bags or shoes match .I bet you know that sinking feeling that tightens your throat when no accessories match your handbag or shoes, that made the 40% contributor to my stress factor.SADD!

I was invited to the Glee 3D concert screening at MBO cinema and the movie start at 8pm, I can't find any headband to match my shoes and bag so I dragged my mum to Green Height's Mall for a last minute shopping to grab a S&S headband from Rock Paper Scissors.

Thank God , ALLELUIA! I saw a silver Blair to match with my shoes.

Today was super awesome! Me and the girls from Aurora Boutique , Banded in Borneo and L.A.B got together and it made selling so much fun :D

Happiness is when I receive an invitation via email from S&S for a private viewing of

Glee the 3D Concert Movie!

It will be on 22.8.2011, 8pm at

MBO Cinemas , The Spring , Kuching.

The invitation is only for the 50 top buyers in Kuching and I'm super flattered and happy!

They asked me to bring a bestfriend and the first person that popped in my head is this girl

that sings with me to The Warblers with the volume up in the car!

I'm like your average female and I absolutely love shoes. My current obsession are purrty pumps!

Isn't she a doll? Black studded pumps look so good with a black high waist pencil skirt. But wearing these babies have its price to pay. Strutting in em for 6 hours during work can be really tiring.

My average daily task is assisting my lovely customers :) besides that I've explored the entire mall for heavenly bites. I took occasional breaks for food and had happy hour beer session at Station One.

These cute cuppies are from Cafe Chat, at Pullman hotel . I personally love the blackberry creme cheese ~

What's good at Station One? I recommend their drinks. Totally refreshing and affordable . And if you happen to be at Hills do drop by and say Hi!

I just got back from the cinema with my bf after dinner to watch Captain America and I'm still sad right now that he and that girl didn't get to go on a date. So sad :/ . But I'm so hyped for Planet of The Apes ! Yay!

Exploring Singapore has always been fun.

Here's some of my favourite things to do while on vacation at Sin City.

My 1# fave would be having my sister around as a tourist guide!

Its been a year since she work at Singapore and getting around is not a problem & the fear of getting lost is
totally assured.

I look like a giant next to her.lol

My #2 fave would be the lights that glimmer and sparkle across Maria Bay Sands.

#3 is shopping haul for dresses , shoes and bags that are not available in Kuching.

I'm not saying Kuching has its limitations but its great to buy stuff that you won't see another girl at the mall

wearing the same dress as you right?

Plus I personally think that Charles and Keith purses,

bags and shoes are good quality.Neat sewing and sturdy .
And the saddest part, the only outlet here is closed down.boo hoo.

#4 is this cute yoghurt ice cream shop- Yigloo!

Frozen yogurt taste sooo good and usually consists of milk solids,
some kind of sweetener, milk fat, yogurt culture, coloring, and flavoring.

With unlimited topping of your choice!

I like this shop because its buy 2, free 1. Only $10 for 3 ice cream cups.

I've morphed from a lazy bum to a workaholic. I'm so busy that my room is so messy and I don't have time

for leisure with my bf. But I'm not complaining. Business at Hills is going well and the purchasing power is better there compared to the last place I went offline for my e-boutique.

My bf is so supportive and I'm glad he drove to Hills and helped me pack up before I leave or teman me even though he's doing his thesis and research at uni.

I've been exhausted to the max since the weekend and I'm taking a day off tomorrow. I need to recharge and get lots of rest and tomorrow I need to do some stuff like tidying up my room, wash my bf's laundry. Yes, he can't do his own laundry and he gave a bag of clothes for me to wash and I don't know how to use the washing machine! We're both a bunch of hopeless pigs.

We're also planning a cook out tomorrow! He google-ed this recipe for Fettucine Carbonara and I'm

baking Shepard's Pie!! Yippee!!

At Work

Its the second day of work at Lovely Gwendolly at Hills Shopping Mall

and I admit that I love love love and love doing this. Every night on the way back, I'm pumped for the next day to be at my stall. My bf thinks I'm crazy but suggested I do this full time.

Working my own hours at my own pace and time. I'm so in love with my work right now. No kidding .

Maybe the bottom line is that I am hard headed and I'm known for not doing work at how its expected.

So the safest way is to do my own way lorh.

Bf send me to work this morning after paying for his car road tax at the post office and on the way out my shoe broke!

Thank God the mall is just nearby so I rushed in and got this baby

I don't want any boo boos (like blisters) from new shoes so I got bigger size so that my feet fit inside comfortably.

Birthday Wishes

Dinner was rather awesome on the eve of his birthday .

We love the ceaser's salad at Chef's At Home because its SO good .

The cheese, ice berg lettuce and salad dressing are superb.

Zee best! We give this Ceasar's salad 10 out of 10.RM 12 if with turkey ham slices.

Bf had the mixed grill of chicken, lamb and beef.

I had the Linguine Cheese Mushroom carbonara.

When the clock strike 12, I sang him a birthday song and embarrassed him. Lol.

The next morning, we woke up rather early at 10am and drove to Damai .

I planned this day a month before his birthday. Got him a straw hat from Quicksilver,SG.

Custom made card from Pixie Peddler and a G Shock watch and oh! That photo framed pictures of us.

He was so happy and I'm so glad he likes it.

My gifts are not extra special or worth a lot but at least I made him happy that day. If I have extra dough, I would buy him tickets to Perth for Jack Johnson's concert or to KL for the recent Liverpool match, but I'm still glad he likes it, even though the gifts I got him are simple :)

Here's the funny part, he was in the toilet doing his business and I quickly assemble the cupcakes (the BEST cupcakes ever from The Enchantress' Cauldron if you never heard of them you must be living under a rock :P) and I got everything just in time!

He came out and I started singing him a birthday song and he was wearing his boxers! It was sooo funny

we ended up laughing instead.

If you wonder why the fondants look really ugly its because I made it! It took me 5 hours to roll and

shaped 10 pieces of fondant and thats the best I can do, I'm seriously HOPELESS in baking.

After that we went for a dip!

I was so pumped to be at the beach :D

Being there just clears up the negativity .All problems gone and just calmness.
I meditate like a Buddha by the pool.It was refreshing.

We were so hungry from the swimming and running like baboons at the beach

that we ordered food suitable for 5 people.

We're just plain greedy ,hence the left overs.

I'm always in denial thinking that my bf is 3 years older than me. I always feel like he's my age and I got prove why he's NOT getting older.

He still acts like a kid ,plays around too much, fart at my face (yes, a smelly one then runs away)

and his apps on the ipad2 are 90% games!!! To me he's 16 not 27. LOL!!

But I guess that makes us get along so well with each other.

Both still act like effing kids and we would be the one running,shrieking and laughing ; Me trying to put my dried nose poop on his face or he trying to dig my ears. Either way, I would always win . Just wince and pretend to cry in pain, he will give in.Trust me! ;)

I've been job hunting these past few days. I'm kinda torn in between doing my own business which i love-working at my own hours and time but I feel that I'm lack of experience.

My e-boutique is like my baby now and is now 2years old this year . But like I said I need more

exposure and experience! I want to dress up in working attire and strut in platform pumps ,

which I don't do while working at home :D

I took some mug shots of myself at Anna studio and I hope my smile isn't too big that I will scare off employers! lol

I regret not wearing a collared shirt under my blazer instead of that dress (which is invisible) to have that corporate look :D

Anyways! My back is aching from all the moving I did with my bf . He found a new home with his

friends and I helped him clean up the house and its was tedious!!

We were sneezing non stop because the house is really dusty.

After all that cleaning up we got hungry and I got rewarded for helping him out- a bowl of pork ribs bak kut teh.I personally think that this shop somewhere in Sekama serves the best bak kut teh.The taste is just nice and light. Not too strong but just nice.

Then they say that you can always win a man's heart through is stomach.

It happened like this, I pranked my bf saying that I'm heading to the Rainforest World Music Fest last weekend without him but just with a bunch of friends . He was pissed!! lol!!! I remember that look on his face its because we do things together whenever, where ever (see, he even teman me eating pork despite he can't eat it) anyway back to my story, so he got mad at me for going and I told himit was only a joke! Then when I realize he's not laughing I got mad at him instead!Childish much.

So after slamming the door at his face after he send me back, the next morning I feel awful.

So I look at my cook book which he bought for me in hopes for me to learn how to cook (I'm that hopeless) I decided to bake him some cupcakes:)

Ta-da! I followed 98% of that book

and I made my first ever fondant decoration!

It was a little out of shape but I tried! haha. I was glad the cupcakes taste ok, I texted him to come by and he came with a smile on his face and the best part, he seems happy that I can cook and he ate my cupcakes til the last crumb.

I looked at him and smile-it works!

Moving!

Today is the second day of moving day. Bf got a new house & we've been putting it together,

cleaning up , packing and unpacking. Tiring but fun. I can't wait to help him decorate his room.

We need green plants, a goldfish and the furniture must be balance for good feng shui to harmonize the environment or to block away the sha energy.

Oh! I've did my meditation and I manage to complete it lastnight before I sleep

Chasing Pavements

As they all say it, life has its ups and downs. This week was awesome but not for my boyfriend.

He's been so stressed with his masters coursework and it effected us too. That made us agitated with each other. My god, even my hair against his cheeks annoy him. I guess him being a straight A

4.0 student turned him into a psycho-geek and once he hit a skid along the way, he went rock bottom . I told him, its not sunshine everyday and things happen for a reason, and all this stress is will always be a lesson for him to grow and learn.

Last Friday , I brought him karaoke at Kbox and we screamed our lungs out. I looked at him & Im glad he let it all out. HA HA , so now I'm a doctor/psychiatrist ? Then yesterday we went to the swimming pool and we played in the water & I manage to make him laugh :D anddddd nextweek will be a short gateway that screams AWESOME :DD

I never fail to make myself happy.

As you can see, my Facebook profile appeared smaller at the right hand side with other tabs at the side.

But with Flipboard, it makes stalking on Facebook 100x better. I love to flip the pages and

the layout is totally different from the usual Facebook browser on the laptop or PC.

I personally prefer Flipboard because its just too cool :D

Life's Simple Pleasure

Honestly having period can effed me up so badly & it made me so depressed. I was having a difficult time

physically & mentally coping up with my body during menstrual week and I'm so glad to have my solitude reminder/psychiatrist/Malay Buddha slash boyfriend, around me and made things so much better when my lower back ached so badly, he gave me a massage.He let me scream at him,anything to make me feel better. I can be such a monster :/

But I really count my blessings that I have a guy like him in my life.Thank you Lord Jesus!

During menstrual week also made me insane - for food.

I was craving for something sinful & sweet so he got me a meringue cupcake .

He bought this at Lapis Sari for RM 5.90

The cake was rather dry & the meringue was like mash mellow.Boo. Certainly won't be on my cupcake radar.

Yesterday, went for lunch with my bestie, Nadia

She was craving for the spaghetti sauce and it was the reason why we were here .Lol

I had the dory fish fillet..ermm..I personally give it 3 out of 10.With the price of RM 18.90,
Secret Recipe food taste like crap.Only the cakes are good.

Boo to the corn and carrot. I mean the corn , carrot and broccoli was certainly not fresh.and wtf happen to the carrot? Its not even sliced properly but just a thick chunk like it was cut by a 6 year old.

Ok,ok, I won't complain about food.Not cool.Like I said, having period transformed me to a decepticon, only less evil :P

Anyways, today, me and my bf went for a quick escape from town to a really nice Balinese spot

Singapore Zoo

I love animals! and seeing them up close is even better, like a kid going to a zoo, I was pretty

enthusiastic :D

Tickets for dad, mum, sister & me. They said that the Singapore Zoo is one of the world's best zoo.

Damn right.

The zoo is well maintained and the animals are well groomed .

Being at the Singapore zoo was indeed an eye opener for me because at evey animal station or cage, there will be a signage on animal extinction and it made me realize that animals need us humans to live .

We were just halfway in the zoo when it rained! Bought raincoats for S$5 each .

I was back at school for the ever anticipated event at St Teresa, the food and fun fair :D

Woke up pretty early and got there with my boyfriend and sister.

It arrived at my house this morning & after he purchased it 10 days before online at Apple Store.

Well , fuck itFusion at Green Heights mall.Not only their service is terrible, I had an experience with the workers there. I went there because its been a month plus since we paid the deposit but the ipad 2 haven't arrive at all or no update from them. I went there to ask this dude

Me: Excuse me, do you know when will the ipad 2 arrive?

Him: I don't know.(looks at computer screen)

Me: Err..how many months do you think? 1 month? 2?

Him: I don't know..(still looking at the computer)

Wtf!! If you don't know, quit your job & find some other job.

Then I insist : When do u really think it will arrive because its been a month plus since we paid the deposit.

Him: Its because of the explosion of the factory in China, don't you know?

Me- Stunned.

I just leave the shop & told my bf to get his deposit back, so he ordered online and it reach here within 10 days from Shen Zhen, China.

I honestly love the hotel me & my family stayed. The service was top notch & the it made my vacay even better

Then we went to the restaurant to have breakfast.Yum!

After that, me & my family took the hotel shuttle and they send us directly to KLCC then Pavilion .

I LOVE JUICY!

We went to Sg. Wang and we met my aunty & cousin! What a shocker. LOL!They spent a few nights in KL before returning to England.

That night, I met up with my girl Anna.

Babe, if you're reading this I want you to know that I'm missing you! I can't wait for you

to be back in Kuching !:DD

Day 2-Singapore & KL

Day 2 was spent down town Orchard.As usual, that place was packed with hundreds of tourists & locals alike, shopping in conjunction with the Great Singapore Sale.

The place I love to shop is the three storey Forever 21 store at Wisma Atria . woot!

Me & my sister went crazy & shopped for dresses, tops & accessories !

After we shopped, we had lunch

My sister had spaghetti bolognese

I tried the chicken chop & it was real gooood.

The mushroom soup was really good too

And a trip to Singapore isn't complete without dear Old Chang Kee.

The next day me & my family flew south to KL.

I call KL Sincity.Simply because of the shopping temptation & mouth watering food !

We arrived in the afternoon & checked in at The Legend hotel.

Our room was pretty huge & we spent 3 nights here. The bed was super comfy & it was nice to sleep on after a tiring day travelling from the south to the north.

First stop was Sunway!

Had lunch at Wendy's & handsdown I love it more then Burger King. :D

Got back to the hotel room & cam whored with my phone :P

Ugh. I'm getting boring by the minute .Where did my mojo to blog went to?

Life is pretty much the same since I got back to Kuching. Went out with the girls, dinners and movies with the boyf & quality time basking in bed doing nothing. Bliss.

Beauty Centre Disaster

I just got back from a beauty centre for a facial with my best friend and it was such a bad experience.

A seriously fucked up place with bad service. Firstly, the beautician burped a few times. Like BURRRPPPPPPP on top of my head while cleaning my face.

Wait, that's not that bad, the worst part is she POPPED my pimple. It HURTS so bad and my flesh

goes out from my skin & the blood. omg. Now I have a throbbing headache at the side of my head :(

Just because they earn really pathetic income does not give them the rights to insult & say our skin is horrible.

they kept saying our skin is 'teruk' to be exact. Well , excuse me, there are people out there

with even WORST skin condition then us. Then when it comes to the end, they started to promote their products. Ppfft ..

That will be the last time I'm going there. Not therapeutic at all. Totally pathetic.
